Moderation Centre

The SoloScape Moderation Centre

The Moderation Centre is your starting point for keeping SoloScape safe and fair. Here you can learn how the game is policed, how to report players who break the rules, and how to protect yourself from scammers and account thieves. If you have been muted or banned and believe it was a mistake, you can also appeal from here.

⚠ Protect your account

  • SoloScape staff will never ask for your password. Not in-game, not on the forums, not by private message, not by email. Anyone who does is trying to steal your account — report them.
  • Moderators are never recruited by private message. No real member of staff will ever PM you a "moderator invite", offer to make you a moderator, or ask you to visit another website to "claim" a rank. These are always scams.
  • Beware of impersonators. A crown can be faked in a screenshot and names can be spelled to look official. Trust the crown shown next to a name on this website and in-game, never a crown promised to you elsewhere.
  • Keep your recovery details up to date and never share your account. You are responsible for everything done on it.

Who keeps SoloScape in order?

There are three kinds of moderator, each shown by a coloured crown next to their name. You can always tell who you are speaking with.

Player Moderator crown Player Moderators (silver crown) — trusted volunteers drawn from the community who patrol the game world. They can mute, kick, and issue short bans, but they have no access to your account, password, or bank.
Forum Moderator crown Forum Moderators (green crown) — volunteers who look after the message boards: locking threads, removing spam, and keeping discussion civil. Their crown only appears on the forums and profiles.
Jagex Moderator crown Administrators / Jagex-style staff (gold crown) — the official SoloScape team. They have full powers across the game and forums and are the only people who can change accounts, process appeals, or reverse exploits.

Reporting a rule-breaker

If a player is breaking the rules — scamming, using offensive language, cheating, encouraging others to break the rules, or impersonating staff — let us know. Reports are reviewed by moderators; please give the offender's exact name and as much detail as you can.

The rules at a glance

The SoloScape rules cover, among other things:

  • Offensive language
  • Item & password scamming
  • Bug abuse & exploits
  • Staff impersonation
  • Account sharing & trading
  • Macroing / botting
  • Advertising & spam
  • Asking for personal details

Read the complete, authoritative list on the Rules page before you play or post.

Muted or banned?

Moderator decisions are not final if a genuine mistake was made. If you believe a mute or ban was unfair, you can submit an appeal and a member of staff will review your account.
