Access to SoloScape is free. No real-world currency is required to play. Any optional in-game membership / cosmetic codes are sold at cost-recovery only and do not generate profit; they exist solely to offset hosting fees. We do not buy, sell, or trade in real-world money for in-game items, accounts, or services.

4. User-generated content

Posts in our forums, clan chats, profile pages, and in-game chat are submitted by individual users. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the views, language, or accuracy of any user-submitted content. Use the report tools to flag anything that breaks our Rules.

5. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We may modify, suspend, or terminate any feature of the site at any time without notice. Service interruptions, rollbacks, and data loss can happen during the beta phase.

The desktop client gives the smoothest performance and the best graphics. It is the recommended way to play, though you can also play instantly in your browser with no download at all.

Getting started

Download the zip above and extract the whole folder anywhere you like.
Run SoloScape.exe, pick a graphics mode and press Play.
On the recommended download the game files fetch themselves the first time, with a progress bar. This happens once.
Log in with your SoloScape account — the same one you use on this site.
New here? You will begin on Tutorial Island, which teaches you the basics.

Java is included, so there is nothing else to install. Having trouble? See the Wiki & FAQs or ask on the forums.
